Back to the beginning. The year is 1975, International Women's Year, as declared by the United Nations, and the time of a striking social revolution in France. Francis-Charles Pollet, just 30 years old, launched Promod with one idea in mind: to create women's fashion that was joyful, fresh, affordable and right on trend. And how well-received it was! Jumping forwards in time to 2018 – Julien Pollet, 39 yrs old, took over from his father to continue the adventure. A new pace, yet keeping the same philosophy. The new CEO is developing the brand in the reality of today's world, producing fashion for all women that brings joy, is perfect for travel and in easy affordable styles with less eco-impact! The collections are increasingly creative. Inclusive. Participative!

In 2022, we changed the logo and added an identity signature letter: the P in Promod – mirrorlike - in the shape of a heart, as a symbol of the Promod community. Printed and even embroidered on standout pieces in our collections, this new emblem underlines the genuine link between the brand and women. It builds a strong feeling of belonging between customers and our team members. In parallel, we selected words that weave a subtle complicity and our colourful images express authenticity, simplicity, joy and style! Every photoshoot location in France or Europe is carefully selected to tell a beautiful story. Featuring tiling, wood, metal and concrete artfully combined, reminiscent of the 1930s, 60s and 70s. Nature, flowers and recycled parachute cloth all evoke a lighthearted spirit of freedom and travel…

Our style is neo-boho, fresh and colourful…inspirational for every moment in life, for all women. Promod creates modern outlines, comprising clothes and accessories with easy elegance and designed to reduce eco-impact. Our collections (available in sizes 34 - 48) suggest freedom and travel…movement, choice and fashion dash! Because being a fashion brand means creating the unexpected, leveraging unique savoir-faire. Certain motifs are drawn in our creative studio. We surprise with original capsule collections, in collaboration with young designers or upcoming brands. A fusion of femininity & workwear. Oversized shapes with a post vintage spirit, urban feel and sporty vibe. Every season, we also rework our iconic looks to keep up with the times...and your fashion desires!

Rethinking fashion - less & better- multiplying meaningful actions. Changing the way of thinking. Making collections enriched with recycled or organic fabrics. Creating eco-responsible clothing. Encouraging DIY and sustainable sewing through Promod Couture. Encouraging a circular approach with Promod Seconde Vie. And committing in a sisterly spirit!

A woman, is a graceful strength. Determined to defend her chosen cause. Fighting against adversity. Doing whatever she likes, whenever she wants, as she wishes. Reinventing, for creating a new and better free world! All year long the Pink Boutique - a selection of clothing adapted to the special challenges linked to breast cancer – contributes to breaking taboos around this illness. On the 8th March, for International Women's Day, Promod invites men and women to accept breakthrough ideas with concrete actions towards equality. Within our organisation as well: prevention, inclusivity and diversity are promoted so that everyone can enjoy a harmonious professional life, in accordance with their personal life.

From the start, it is all based on actions together. For sustainability, innovation, dialogue and a little joy in daily life for all those who are involved with Promod. New or loyal customers, followers on social media, teams in head office or in the stores, international players...Everyone gives input and everyone should feel heard to build this collective approach with a spirit of humanity.
