Once produced, our products are transported to our logistics warehouse at Wattrelos in the North of France.

Our logistics teams work every day to limit our transport impact on the environment.

WHAT TRANSPORT MEANS DOES PROMOD USE?

We mainly use maritime transport (60% of our volume) for deliveries coming from Asia, road transport (33% of our volume) for deliveries coming from close proximity. Air freight counts for 7% today in our supply chain.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR REDUCTION OF PLASTIC USE?

Promod has set-up a workgroup with other companies to precisely review the current situation, benchmark existing good practise, also make a reduction in single-use plastic and find alternatives:

In stores, plastic bags have been replaced with brown paper or fabric tote bags

For online orders, plastic envelopes have been replaced with brown paper envelopes made out of wood pulp from managed forests.

For transport from the production facility, we are currently experimenting with different solutions (notably via cardboard strip packaging)

FOR AN ONLINE ORDER, WHICH DELIVERY MODE IS THE LEAST HARMFUL TO THE ENVIRONMENT?

For an online order, the carbon footprint is proportional to the delivery date: express delivery has a bigger impact on the environment
